Xalapa, Ver., 26 de marzo de 2024.- De acuerdo con la última actualización del Gobierno estatal son 620 las hectáreas afectadas por los incendios forestales activos en la región de las Altas Montañas, de forma preliminar, sin reporte de personas fallecidas o lesionadas, gracias a la rápida respuesta y cooperación de los órdenes federal y municipal, en tres polígonos de atención.
La división Alfa, encargada de la zona Maltrata-Nogales, mantiene un control del 50 por ciento y liquidación de 40, cuantificando daño en 400 has; mientras que la división Bravo, en Huiloapan-Mendoza, registra estragos en 220, un control de 40 y liquidación del 10%, y en Soledad Atzompa la división Charlie no ha determinado el radio, pero ha controlado un 30 y liquidado el 20%.

Cabe destacar que cinco familias de la comunidad Palo Verde, en Nogales, evacuaron sus viviendas por la presencia de fuego en los patios, sin que sus casas estén comprometidas estructuralmente.
