Minatitlán, Ver. – Un momento histórico se vivió en la calle Ignacio Zaragoza entre las calles Emiliano Zapata y Miguel Hidalgo en la colonia Buena Vista Norte, donde la Presidenta Municipal, Dra. Carmen Medel, acompañada por el Secretariado del Ayuntamiento Lic. Guillermo Reyes Espronceda y regidores, dio el banderazo de arranque a los trabajos de pavimentación con concreto hidráulico.
Los residentes del lugar expresaron su gratitud por este hecho trascendental, ya que durante más de 60 años habían estado solicitando la pavimentación de su calle. La Dra. Medel Palma enfatizó que todos los recursos son invertidos de manera eficiente en el municipio, destinando cada peso gestionado a las colonias que requieren mayor atención.
Esta obra se lleva a cabo con un techo financiero superior a los 2 millones 100 mil pesos, provenientes del FAISMUN 2024, beneficiando directa e indirectamente a más de 2 mil habitantes. Como acto de transparencia, se entregó la Cédula de Control y Vigilancia de Obra al Comité de Contraloría Social integrado por vecinos, garantizando una supervisión ciudadana efectiva.
Con el inicio de este importante proyecto de pavimentación, se mejora la imagen urbana y eleva la plusvalía de los hogares minatitlecos.
