En Argelia, la historia de Omar Bin Omran ha conmocionado a la comunidad, y es que después de 27 años de desaparición, este hombre finalmente fue encontrado en el sótano de su vecino, a una distancia sorprendentemente corta de su propia casa, ubicada a tan solo 100 metros de distancia.
Se especula que durante todo ese tiempo estuvo cautivo a manos de su vecino, quien ahora tiene 61 años, sin embargo, el hallazgo del hombre no solo está conmocionando al mundo, sino que ha revelado un perturbador misterio de casi tres décadas.
El rescate de Omar ocurrió el pasado domingo 12 de mayo, cuando el hombre, hoy de 45 años y con barba, fue rescatado del sótano debajo del piso cubierto de heno de su vecino en una especie de corral de ovejas, como muestra un video que muestra al detenido de aspecto confundido publicado en las redes sociales.
De acuerdo con la policía, fueron familiares de la víctima quienes dieron aviso a las autoridades después de que el hermano del sospechoso sugiriera que su hermano estaba involucrado en el secuestro en una publicación en las redes sociales.
Así, se inició una investigación en la que se ordenó registra la casa del captor, y fue entonces cuando se descubrió una trampa escondida debajo del heno en el suelo.
En videos difundidos en redes sociales, se observa a Omar sumamente confundido tras ser hallado; en tanto, fue trasladado al hospital para recibir tratamiento, tanto físico como psicológico.
Su captor, un hombre de 61 años que vivía solo, fue detenido, según la Fiscalía General de Djelfa e irá a juicio por el “crimen atroz” que cometió, además, se le acusa de matar al perrito de la víctima, quien por cierto aparece en varias fotografías con Omar cuando era un niño en el año de su desaparición.
Omar desapareció en 1998, cuando era solo un adolescente, su madre nunca dejo de buscarlo, sin embargo, murió en espera de encontrarlo y sus últimas palabras fueron “por favor, no dejen de buscar a Omar. Estoy seguro de que todavía está vivo”.
Según los informes, Omar les dijo a sus familiares que a veces los veía pasar por una ventana en la casa de su secuestrador, pero no podía hablar ni llamarlos, como si estuviera bajo algún tipo de hechizo, informaron medios de ese país.
