- Trabajadores de diversas embarcaciones avistaron al canino y lo reportaron a través de la radio; los más cercanos fueron a su rescate

Coatzacoalcos, Ver. – Un emotivo rescate ocurrió el lunes 15 de julio en alta mar, cuando un perro fue avistado nadando sin rumbo en aguas del Golfo de México, a cuatro millas de la costa del municipio de Coatzacoalcos, al sur de Veracruz. Trabajadores de una embarcación se percataron del inusual avistamiento y no dudaron en movilizarse para auxiliar al animal.
De acuerdo con el reporte de Offshore Life México, un blog especializado en la vida en alta mar, el avistamiento del perro se escuchó por radio alrededor de las 06:40 horas. Inmediatamente, las embarcaciones cercanas se movilizaron para llevar a cabo el rescate.
«La embarcación a cargo se encontraba trabajando en el tendido de líneas frente a la estación de compresión de Coatzacoalcos y enseguida se movieron», informó la publicación en Facebook.
Los trabajadores utilizaron un bote para llegar hasta donde el perro nadaba, luchando por sobrevivir. Lograron subir al animal a la embarcación, lo secaron y lo mantuvieron a temperatura ambiente cubriéndolo con toallas. Una vez estabilizado, el perro fue llevado al barco, donde le proporcionaron agua y comida.
Se espera que el barco arribe al puerto de Coatzacoalcos mañana para que el perro reciba atención veterinaria especializada, ya que se desconoce cuánto tiempo estuvo en el mar. Uno de los tripulantes, oriundo de Coatzacoalcos, decidió adoptar al perro, comprometiéndose a cuidarlo y darle el amor que necesita, además de hacerse cargo de los cuidados veterinarios que requiera.
Este heroico rescate ha generado asombro y admiración entre la comunidad porteña y los rescatistas de animales. La pregunta que muchos se hacen es: ¿Cómo llegó este perrito a mar abierto? Sin embargo, todos reconocen la noble acción de los trabajadores que salvaron la vida del canino.
«Dios bendiga a la tripulación de este barco por salvar a este perrito que naufragaba en medio del mar», concluyó el blog que recibió la anécdota de los testigos del rescate.
